         LA VILLA DE LOS SANTOS, CIUDAD

Esta hermosa ciudad interiorana, está situada en la Penísula de Azuero, y se caracteriza por su 
estilo colonial. 

Su Parque principal San Atanacio, la bella arquitectura de la Iglesia  y su Museo de la Nacionalidad enla casona, típica construcción española del tiempo de la colonia, nos recuerda épocas pasadas que quedan como recuerdo vivo de nuestros ancentros españoles.

Al fondo la tradicional Calle 10 de Noviembre, evoca el tiempo de la rebelión y primer gesto de independencia de España, ya que por sus esfuerzos a favor de la separación de Panamá de España en 1821, La Villa de Los Santos encabezó dicha independencia, y a la gesta independista de esa fecha se le llama El Grito de Los Santos.  Hombres y mujeres valientes de nuestra campiña reunidos en Cabildo declaraon su resolución de no continuar bajo el poder español de esa época.

Luego en la Ciudad de Panamá para el 28 de noviembre de 1821 se reafirma la independencia de Panamá de España y se libera del poder español.

LA VILLA DE LOS SANTOS, CITY

This beautiful city of the interior is situated in the Azuero Península, it is characterized for his Colonial Style. 
The most important park is Simón Bolivar, the beautiful Architectural Church¨"San Atanacio ", and the National Museum in the Casona Typical house of the Colony Times, it rem    us of past times of our spaneard ancestors.
At the end the traditional Street 10 of November which evoques the rebelion and the independence from Spain in which the efforts of the independence of Panama from Spain in 1821 the Los Santos Village Came with a name call:  THE SCREAM OF INDEPENDENCE OF THE HEROIC LOS SANTOS VILLAGE.
